About the Press

The Academia Mexicana de Investigación y Docencia en Innovación (AMIDI) is a civil society established in 2019 with the National Registry of Scientific and Technological Institutions and Companies (RENIECYT) No. 2200092. Besides AMIDI is in the Register of Publishers of the National Institute of the Copyright of Mexico. AMIDI brings together professionals, teachers, and researchers affiliated with CONAHCYT's National System of Researchers (SNI) from the areas: I. Physics-Mathematics and Earth Sciences; II. Biology and Chemistry; III. Medicine and Health Sciences; IV. Behavioral Sciences and Education; V. Humanities; VI. Social Sciences; VII. Agriculture, Farming, Forestry, and Ecosystem Sciences; VIII. Engineering and Technological Development; Interdisciplinary.

All the professors and researchers are dedicated to developing the different meanings of innovation, such as services and products, processes, marketing, organization, technology, business, and social models, among others, so that in a transdisciplinary exercise, various proposals are made for the generation of unpublished and original knowledge as well as field applications that allow a better transition towards sustainable development.
To achieve this, AMIDI leads several initiatives, such as:

1. Promoting original and unpublished scientific knowledge through the journal Scientia et PRAXIS (https://scientiaetpraxis.amidi.mx/index.php/sp).

2. The promotion of continuing education, recognized by the Ministry of Public Education of Mexico through virtual diplomas and postgraduate courses, which can be found on the https://amidi.mx page as:

-Innovation by Digital Marketing. ESDIP-2020-046
-Innovation for Electronic Business. ESDIP-2020-047
-Marketing and Innovation for the development of New Products and/or Services. ESDIP-2020-048.
-The Master's Degree in Sustainable Development Innovation Administration (MAIDS), which is designed by professor-researchers belonging to the SNI based on the 17 sustainable development goals (ONU, 2015) and the 10 strategic national programs (PRONACES , 2023) issued by the National Council of Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies (CONAHCYT) of Mexico, including the requirements issued by each of the secretariats of innovation, science, and technology of the country's states and three lines of knowledge generation and application lines (LGAC):
----Agribusiness and food sovereignty
----Culture of peace, education, and security for sustainable development.
----Socio-ecological systems, energy, housing, and health.

3. The implementation of AMIDI.Biblioteca as a universal digital repository open access and free download portal for the publication of scientific books and proceedings around innovation for sustainable development.

4.AMIDI.Biblioteca digital repository publishes in its Web Portal (based Open Monograph Press by PKP) two kinds of scientific eBooks: 

     a. Previously published by a University or Public Research Centre with their own double-blind peer-reviewed process and 

     b. eBOOKS designed, made, with double-blind peer-reviewed by AMIDI.Biblioteca. 
 
     c. All published eBooks have, at the end of each of them, the authorized double-blind peer review letter.

5. The offering of value proposition, with:

-The assignment of DOI (Digital Object Identifier) ​​from CrossRef, which addresses works with metadata for more agile identification on the Internet, with an increased probability of being cited by colleagues and/or PhD. students.

-Indexing of works in the main open-access bibliometric sources

-Digital preservation.

-Editorial services, such as the previous reviewing of books and proceedings or the eISBN assignment in case of being required in the email: biblioteca@amidibib.amidi.mx
