Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another press for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines

Registration and login are required to submit items online and check recent submissions' status. As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all the elements shown below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to the authors for scientific books, book chapters, and conference content.

  1. Exclusivity: All the works sent must be unpublished; the authors must undertake not to submit them for consideration by other journals simultaneously. Any legal, moral, ethical, etc. conflict that may arise will be the authors' full responsibility, exempting AMIDI.Biblioteca and AMIDI.
  2. The originality of the works: They must be results or advances of original and high-level research framed within the scientific disciplines. 
  3. AMIDI.Biblioteca publishes articles preferably in English and Spanish.
  4. Before being sent to the evaluators, the work will be submitted to anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin or iThenticate) that detects the levels of similarity; If it exceeds more than 20%, the work will be rejected.
  5. Ethics: it will be the responsibility of the authors that, both in the research process and in the submission of their work, the ethical codes of their respective institutions have been respected, as well as the universally accepted legal and ethical norms for working with human beings, animals, and the environment. AMIDI.Biblioteca adheres to the declaration of international ethical standards for authors and publishers adopted at the Second World Conference on Research Integrity held in Singapore in 2010 by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). By submitting the work, the Author is expressing his consent and agreement with the ethical guidelines indicated in the conference documents. AMIDI.Biblioteca reserves the right to take the measures it deems pertinent when it detects inappropriate conduct in the behavior of both authors and arbitrators.
  6. The author or authors retain their copyright without restriction, according to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC-BY-NC) The author(s) authorize(s) to reproduce, publish, edit, fix, communicate, and publicly transmit their work in any digital form or medium, as well as distribute it to the public and communicate it in any modality for exclusively academic,  scientific, cultural and dissemination purposes, giving credit to the authors. The Authors retain copyright to their articles without restriction.
  7. AMIDI.Biblioteca is an open-access digital repository, meaning that all content is freely available to the user or his/her institution without charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking the publisher's or the author's prior permission.
  8. There are three files to be sent: the first contains the authors' data, the second is the detailed manuscript of the article, and the third is the author's license and originality letter. All of them are in Microsoft Word files.
  9. The Corresponding Author is responsible for ensuring that all authors have contributed significantly to work by collecting their approval of the contents and forms of the article. The Author must provide the ORCID accounts of all participants and the institutional emails of each of them.
  10. AMIDI.Biblioteca digital repository publishes works preferably in English as well as in Spanish.
  11. It is required that 80% of the references be in the range of 5 to 10 years old due to the scientific nature of the AMIDI.Biblioteca digital repository. All references must show the corresponding DOI.
  12. Citations and references must meet the criteria established in this journal’s standards for authors based on APA-7 and save the suggested format in a Word electronic file with the illustrations, tables, maps, and graphs with their respective numbering and title within the file as clear and precise originals. They must be mentioned within the body of the article, including the source, and be placed immediately within the document, appropriately for its presentation. DO NOT PLACE THEM AT THE END OF THE WORK.
  13. Conditions of freedom of publication: The works to be reviewed, due to their scientific nature, must be unrelated to gender orientations or discrimination, which may be political, institutional, or group interests unrelated to the original objective of the same, in such a way that so that there is no greater censorship than that derived from the rigorous opinion process. Therefore, the articles' contents will be the authors' responsibility. Once they are published, the considerations for them will be turned over to the authors so that they resolve possible controversies regarding their works.
  14. Total or partial reproduction is authorized as long as the source is cited.
  15. AMIDI.Biblioteca is an open-access portal, meaning that all content is freely available to the user or his/her institution without charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking the publisher's or the author's prior permission.
  16. IMPORTANT NOTE: EDITORIAL DIAGNOSIS is answered in less than one week. Please regularly check your SPAM inbox since the response from Scientia et PRAXIS typically arrives there.
  17. It is important to cite at least 2 works from the Scientia et PRAXIS (https://scientiaetpraxis.amidi.mx/index.php/sp/issue/archive) collection and the AMIDI.Biblioteca (https://www.amidibiblioteca.amidi.mx/index.php/AB/Indexacionesdelabiblioteca).
  18. I declare, as the person responsible for the submission, that this document has no more authors than those indicated (no more names will be added in the editing process)
